Professor Aziz Guergachi Visited BTST

         Feb 25 – Mar 5, 2011, Dr. Aziz Guergachi, professor at Ryerson University, Canada, visited Beijing Time Sonic Co., Ltd. (BTST), Tsinghua University, BTST’s client, Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd. (MBCL) and BTST’s strategic business partner, Beijing Elite Management Consulting Co. Ltd (BEMC).

         Back in 2004, professor Aziz Guergachi met professor Peng Sheng at the 8th SCI International Conference in the USA. Due to the common interest they shared in research area, they started to work together ever since, and jointly wrote the monograph “Exchange Behavior in Selling and Sales Management”, which was published by Elsevier in 2008 after a peer-review process.

         Professor Aziz Guergachi has focused his visit on the following aspects: (a) discussion on the possibility of joint international research projects with Tsinghua University and BTST in the field of value exchange behavior of various kinds; (b) partnership with BTST for the industrial applications of value exchange behavior theory (X-Be Framework) in North America in terms of training programs such as Value-integrated Selling and Value-integrated Marketing.

         The visit by professor Aziz Guergachi in China has been fruitful, not only was the intention for a jointly research project within X-Be framework reached between him and professor Xuebao Song of Tsinghua University, but a MOU was signed with BTST for the industrial applications of X-Be Framework in terms of training programs for companies in North America.
